Antonio Balestra

oil painting on canvas of excellent execution and pictorial trait. The Balestra was trained in Verona with Giovanni Ceffis, then in Venice from 1687 with Antonio Bellucci, finally in Rome with Carlo Maratta from 1690 and in Naples from 1694. A very fruitful painter in every "genre" he distinguished himself for his figures. Frame in gilded and carved wood. Measure cm. 106 x 182.
