The Neapolitan Master was a painter and sculptor, a pupil of Paolo De Matteis, later he was greatly influenced by the style and painting of Luca Giordano. He was highly regarded in the ecclesiastical environment and created many paintings for various churches, especially for the Franciscan Order. Antique walnut and gilded frame of the time. The painting is published in the Bolaffi Encyclopedic Dictionary Italian Painters and Engravers VI ° Edition - Turin 1974 pag. 206, ill. 277. Measure cm. 75 x 62.
