in walnut, tuja burl, olive burl and maple wood, entirely inlaid with geometric motifs and intertwined scrolls, a work of high cabinet-making. The upper part with a series of drawers and door in the center with secrets inside, the lower part with a central calatoia forming a desk, two drawers on the sides and four large drawers below. The initials F. V. are branded on the three cymas and in the center chalice with host. Probably the piece of furniture was ordered and made for a Cardinal. Measure cm. 122 x 66 x 217 h.
